Recently, I received an unexpected, e-mail from a trauma therapist who discovered my website and enjoyed listening to my music. It made me revisit the idea that music can play a key role in many types of therapies.
Being a composer, I value the importance of music and the effect it can have on people. There are so many ways that music can influence our moods and our emotions. Music can especially console, relax, and heal us, transporting us from moments that have been difficult in our day to a place of tranquility and hope.
Music is a powerful tool that can benefit us all – from young children to the elderly.
It brings us to a good place.
It’s very simple. Music is one of the greatest gifts for the soul.
